The U.S. Department of State awarded Constellis company Triple Canopy the Worldwide Protective Services III (WPS III) Baghdad protective services contract.

Constellis, a leading provider of essential risk management and mission support services to government and commercial clients worldwide, announced today that the Department of State (DOS) awarded the company’s Triple Canopy subsidiary a 10-year protective services contract in Baghdad, Iraq, under the WPS III Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a $1.3 billion contract value.

Singapore

DOD has awarded an additional $8,661,495 to previously awarded contract N62742-16-D-3600. This modification provides for the exercise of Option 6 for base operating support services at military and civilian installations in the Republic of Singapore. This award brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $68,575,430.

Work will be performed in the Republic of Singapore.

Army officer files suit after getting shot by Bagram contractor

By CHAD GARLAND - The four men on duty had agreed to watch the movie “Anchorman” as they settled into a security shift on Afghanistan’s Bagram Air Field one December afternoon nearly two years ago.

Zachary Woods, an Army lieutenant deployed with the 3rd Cavalry Regiment at the time, was carrying on a friendly debate about handgun skills with Marine veteran Dylan Barrett, a security contractor and former police officer, witnesses said.
