• As Chief Operating Officer of a closely held corporation was responsible for the organizational planning, acquisitions management and acquisition logistics of a
consulting firm and telecommunications service provider. Worked closely with the CEO to establish objectives, develop budgets and manage compliance and
reporting. Was fully knowledgeable in all aspects of all projects. Managed a team whose sized varied from one to ten as business needs dictated while
monitoring outside resources including onshore and offshore contractors. Oversaw the acquisition and systems engineering aspects of telecommunications and

• As Systems Administrator, Telecommunications Administrator and Security Administrator (IAM) for a growing telecommunications service provider gained deep

• As a Mobile Software Developer for Nearby Explorer, a navigation application for the blind, developed mobile and server side software in Java, C++, C, SQL &
SQLite, Groovy, Bash, and ARM assembly. Used environments such as Android SDK and NDK (ndk-build & gradle-android-native-model), Eclipse, Android
Studio, gradle, make, gcc, binutils, ADB, gdb, and vi. Worked with technologies and APIs such as REST, JSON, SOAP, Open Street maps, OSM Overpass,
Google APIs such as OAuth2, Google Play Developer API, Google Play Services API, Google Places API Web Service, Google Maps Android API, Google

• As a consultative Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, Telecommunications Administrator, and Security Administrator (IAM) was responsible for all
aspects of the engineering subnet including documentation, security policy, security audit, Information Assurance, threat mitigation, penetration analysis, data
storage and backup, and switching & routing. Specified and built our server farm using a mixture of Supermicro and Dell servers. Administered our Linux NFS
and SMB (Samba) file servers, SQL databases (MySQL & PostgreSQL), and our back-up with deduplication scheme based on NetApp Data ONTAP. Specified
and administrated our subnet using Cisco Catalyst switches, 10 GB fiber trunking, 801.1Q VLANs, and layer 2 and 3 routing. Built firewalls using Cisco ASA and
Linux Shorewall including Snort IDS. Supported our Linux, Mac OSX, and Windows users. Designed an anti-virus system using various anti-virus programs (e.g.
Kaspersky, Norton, ClamAV, etc.) running on Windows VMs scanning the fileserver. Built our telecommunications system around Asterisk (SIP and SCCP)
integrated with Cisco Unified Call Manager and Cisco Unified Call Manager Express allowing users to use Cisco 7940 phones or Smart Phone SIP clients over
WiFi. By switching from T1 PRI to SIP trunking and SS7 gateways reduced our costs and expanded our Direct Inward Dialing and outside conferencing
capabilities. Trained junior staff and created the help desk. Through superior design and delegation, consistently remained within my time budget of less than 20
hours per week for administrative tasks while maintaining a 99.99% uptime.
