Summary
Extensive management, training and operational experience has been gained as a Junior NCO and Senior Officer in the South African Army and National Defense Force over a 26 year period, 1976-2001. After a colourful and operationally eventful former military career, focus changed to various NPO, para-military and security related endeavors through-out South African and Middle East region. Site Security Manager PETRONAS (Iraq) JANUS Global Security
Site security manager at AL Garraf Oilfield. PSD TL at EDGO (Basra). Rotation base of one month at each project. Then PSD TL at the Bara International hotel for CPP clients. Then back to Edgo as PSD TL, Site security manager and Ops manager. Site security manager at GBC (Garraf Base Camp). Responsible for the security of the Oil Field development of PETRONAS. Management of the Security force (124 guards), Asset and personnel tracking (POB) bmo, vehicle tracking devices and personnel magnetic access control cards. Entrance and exit control, including perimeter and internal security. Then transferred to Garraf Intergraded Oil Field Terminal as Site security manager with the same responsibilities.
OCT 2008- JUL 2010 PSD Team Leader Falcon Security (Iraq)
Security in the movement and deployment of US Military, GRD and ANHAM personnel of Abhu Ghraib Logistic Base in Baghdad . Responsible for the close protection of Abhu Ghraib Commanding officer and Corporate Management of GRD and ANHAM. PSD movement to Baghdad, Fallujah, Taji. Client USF-I. Also responsible for the training of the PSD Teams.
