Summary

I'm currently employed down range in Iraq. I separated from US Air Force a couple years ago and now looking for change in employment. Experience

Mr. Wallace has more than 15 years’ experience in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and comprehensive proficiency in installing, troubleshooting and maintaining expeditionary and commercial quality HVAC/R systems. He has extensive knowledge of Chillers, Split, Package Units, Direct Expansion and Boiler Systems refrigeration cycle and circuits, maintaining core components, and refrigeration recovery, evacuation and charging. He is knowledgeable and proficient in electrical circuit theory and systems, including AC and DC currents, single phase and three phase, series and parallel circuits. He has worked on various manufactures of HVAC/R systems.

PRESENT POSITION: Sallyport HVAC Technician in Afghanistan (April 2017 – present)

Duties/Responsibilities: Performs Craftsmen level Direct Support/General Support (DS/GS) services, technical support for facility and or mobile equipment ECU units, sustainment and field maintenance, in Afghanistan AOR. Performs the full range of organization level maintenance including scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance, installations, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, operation and maintenance of HVAC systems. Tests back-up power and associated UPS. Coordinates with procurement for the delivery of Materials and Parts and maintains weekly status report of assigned assets or facilities.

As a HVAC Planning – NCOIC with the U.S. Air Force (October 2015 – May 2017), Mr. Wallace installed and repaired expeditionary and commercial HVAC/R systems. He provided technical expertise to shop personnel and engineers, and enforced compliance with codes & regulations. He performed project evaluations and site surveys, developed cost estimates and schedules, identified procurement methods, and tracked material orders. He deployed globally and provided unique expeditionary heavy construction and repair capabilities.

As a HVAC Craftsman with the U.S. Air Force (December 2013 – October 2015), Mr. Wallace installed and repaired expeditionary and commercial HVAC/R systems. He operated and maintained refrigeration units and Field Deployable Environmental Control Units (FDECU) valued at one million dollars. He performed site surveys and coordinated with engineers on HVAC/R systems for three million dollar annual Troop Training Projects.

As a HVAC Worker with the U.S. Air Force (January 2012 – December 2013), Mr. Wallace led work crews to install and repair expeditionary and commercial HVAC/R systems. He operated and maintained refrigeration units and Field Deployable Environmental Control Units (FDECU) valued at one million dollars. He performed site surveys and coordinated with engineers on HVAC/R systems for three million dollar annual Troop Training Projects.

As a HVAC Supervisor with the U.S. Air Force (March 2008 – February 2012), Mr. Wallace deployed in support of COCOMS through Joint Expeditionary Tasking (JET). He provided heavy construction and repair capabilities, and led work crews. He installed, troubleshot and repaired expeditionary and commercial quality HVAC/R systems. He operated and maintained refrigeration units/field deployable environmental control units. He supervised and monitored systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with Task Orders, and EPA & OSHA regulations.

As a HVAC Journeyman with the U.S. Air Force (March 2005 – February 2008), Mr. Wallace deployed worldwide to provide agile combat support through rapid construction, demolition, and heavy repair. He installed, operated, troubleshot, and repaired Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. He monitors HVAC/R systems to ensure equipment was deployable and in compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations. He operated and maintained mobile refrigeration units and field deployable environmental control units (FDECUs).
