• Work multiple areas of the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) in ammunition handling,
distribution, transportation, safety, and quality assurance at the NATO ISAF base at Kandahar
Airfield.
• Conduct inventories, ensuring that the proper storage, marking, and ammunition lots were
accounted for using standard safety requirements and U.S. Army regulations.
• Assumed the previous Logistics Supervisor’s responsibilities when they were no longer
available and Government inspections were commencing.
• Submitted reports, provided customer service, and served as main POC of the ammunition
supply point when dealing with administrative tasks at the main operations building.
• Processed paperwork using the Standard Army Ammunition System to complete Intra Depot
transfers, Issues, and Turn-ins.
• Worked in the transportation section and honed skills for air cargo shipments of ammunition.

according to local Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provided armed security at ASP for 72 Hour shifts.
• Managed multiple ammunition storage magazines aboard one of the largest Marine Corps
bases on the West Coast filling daily training requirements for elements of an entire Marine
Division and assigned supporting tenant units.
• Deployed to Afghanistan to work a forward ASP there supporting ISAF units in daily contact
with enemy forces in the highly contested southeast region of Afghanistan.
• Highly knowledgeable in the inspection and compatibility of ammunition for transportation
over ground routes or by air to include OSHA regulations.
• Ensured magazines or ammunition pads were under acceptable net explosive weight during
storage or preparation for movement.
