Plan, coordinate, and execute the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel in support of critical military missions.

      • Participate in every phase, from receiving, inspection, and storage to order processing and re-shipment. Unload and record incoming products, prepare outgoing orders, and maintain an organized warehouse throughout the process.
      • Determine the most effective mode of transportation for movement requests. Coordinate with other logistics specialists. Prepare shipments and documentation. Perform quality checks. Load containers using forklifts and other equipment. Drive vehicles as needed to personally transport shipments. Maintain detailed records of all activities.
      • Track shipment information within the database. Work with contacts at other sites to discuss shipments and future needs. Serve as a main point-of-contact for information, questions, and issues.

     

  • Conduct inventory analysis and audits on a regular basis. Develop strategies to dispose of expired and unneeded items. Utilize a wide range of systems to manage inventory, maintain accountability, and write reports.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment, machinery, and vehicles. Regularly test, repair, and schedule maintenance.
    • Support management of departmental policies, operations, administration, and finances. Attend management meetings to present information and offer recommendations for improvement.
