Nov 2019 – Present: TVS Supply Chain Solutions/MOD, Demand, MJDI and PMBI Specialist
Performance Metrics & Business Intelligence, giving DT insight into demand management of capital spares and consumables, utilising MJDI and PMBI to highlight pin point solutions in more accurate and efficient process within demand management, which in turn improved performance and significantly reduced customer wait times. Inventory Management, giving SME insight into DICTO Data as well identifying inventory health across different platforms that are reported up to exec level.
Provided knowledge, training and insight into the performance metrics and business intelligence tool (PMBI) to DT and execs. Through giving insight into the real time snapshot data captured by the PMBI Team at Abbey Wood, I was able to support in analysing MJDI transactional data which the delivery team could not complete. Through using Root Cause Analysis and stakeholder engagement, I identified MOD owned capital spares and consumables, as well as supplier owned assets where incorrectly captured within the same metric data, so what was at first showing as overstock in both volume and value, was actually in control and within contractual/supply chain parameters.
Implemented Performance and Management controls for DT’s to utilise in accordance with their platforms and supply chain. PMBI has capacity to provide metric analysis on global demands, as well as pin pointing inability demands and item managed approval demands that require daily review. I identified that out of 600 outstanding demands, we had stock available to satisfy over 20% of the outstanding demands, this data was presented to the supplier by the DT for review and subsequent action. Head SCM now had a more of a pinpoint accurate oversight demand stat at the click of a buttons, vastly reducing time to investigate and await supplier responses.
Mar 2017 – Oct 2019: ATOS – Win 10 and Office 365 Deployment Team Lead
Leading the London, South East and North East deployment teams for Ministry of Justice staff from Windows XP to Windows 10, within the Service Project Design. I am responsible for bridging the gap between the service line team and the customer, through using a ‘fluid’ operational process, this approach to the service delivery upon transition to Win 10, has created a more enhanced Customer Relationship and for the largest European Windows 10 project, it has been a great success in terms of the service level agreement (Transition of 102,000 MOJ staff) for the customer.
Aug 2015 – Feb 2017: BAE Systems – Supply Chain & Inventory Optimisation Manager
Supporting the Eurofighter Typhoon Supply Chain, responsible for the supply chain optimisation platform for the Future State Operations Model 2020 (£110 Million Spares Contract between UK, Germany, Spain and Italy). This involved optimising Price Break data and procurement lead times with UK Vendors, to ensure the right equipment was ordered at the right time, with significant improvements to On Time & In Full OTIF) rates, whilst minimising supply chain reliance on Mutual Supply Support (MSS: Host nations supply chain). This was a successful achievement to which BAE have now evolved this into TyTAN (Typhoon Total Availability eNterprise)
Dec 2014 to Jul 2015: Ministry of Defence – Supply Chain Project Manager
Managing the business transition of an £80 Million Land Supply Business Contract from Defence Equipment & Support Group to Babcock Defence Stores Group. Upon the contract award, public sector processes needed to be transitioned into Babcock DSG processes to which upon my creation of CAST (Central Administrative & Support Team I was able to establish a team that operate as a conduit between all business functions (Procurement, Provision, Finance and Data Knowledge Management), to ensure all business functions operate cohesively and commitments to FLC did not degrade, the success in implementing this function was recognised also by execs as business functions at the time, were impacted due to the Ebola outbreak.
