Project Manager | MIL Corporation | Patrick AFB, FL / St. Louis, MO | 2015 – present
Sector contractor for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). Currently providing support to the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) new headquarters project in St. Louis, MO. Engaged in developing the Request for Proposal (RFP) with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and providing expertise for the design and installation of the information technology and communications portions of the $1.8B project.
Led requirements gathering to develop a comprehensive budget estimate for the new Range Communications Facility (RCF) at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS), FL. The 32,000-square foot facility provides direct operational launch support as well as support to squadron administration, maintenance and other operations functions. MIL’s portion of the RCF Project was completed in July 2014.
Key Achievements:
- Developed the business relationship with the NGA to allow MIL Corporation and the Naval Air Warfare Communications Division (NAWCAD) get selected as a systems integrator for their new headquarters project (N2W) in St. Louis, MO.
- Responsible for executing and tracking all customer deliverables for the $130M communications and information technology portions of the RCF project. Supported the military construction (MILCON) design due to my extensive construction background.
- Selected as Employee of the Month in November 2015 for superior performance.
Senior Global Commodity Manager | Honeywell | Charleston, SC | 2014 – 2015
Coordinated supply chain actions for various commodities to support multiple factory and project sites worldwide for the Process Solutions Division. Responsible for managing mechanical commodities such as rack systems, enclosures, castings and specialized hardware through a diverse international supplier base.

- Drove new product introduction (NPI) projects for the Juarez, Mexico factory.

Project Officer | U. S. Army, Corps of Engineers Mobile District | Patrick AFB, FL / Miami, FL | 2009 – 2014
Senior Military Program Manager accountable for the overall construction management, coordination and execution of two mega-projects; the $400M U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Headquarters and the $158M Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC). Both projects received prestigious national level Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) and regional Associated Builder and Contractors (ABC) awards. AFTAC project team was selected as Project Development Team of the year in 2016 for USACE.
Key Achievements:
- Led technical teams to solve complicated engineering issues around all aspects of the design build process particularly in the security system, IT and data center areas.
- Developed operations and maintenance specifications for both campuses. Worked closely with customers to define user requirements and negotiate changes.
- Interfaced and briefed executive level customers in the Department of Defense and other government agencies with regards to progress, changes and budget targets.
- Served as Debris Task Force Chief in 2012 for Hurricane Sandy relief operations in New York City. Removed in excess of 600K cubic yards of debris via long haul truck and barge operations. Later ran operations for entire effort for North Atlantic Division (NAD).
- Served as Recovery Field Office Commander during the 2011 Alabama Tornado Relief Operations leading over 300 Corps of Engineers civilians to provide quality assurance and other special support to remove over 1M cubic yards of debris, provide temporary housing and augment power to affected areas under FEMA direction.
