CONTRACT AWARD: $953,000,000 for base defense throughout Europe and Africa

Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded a $953,000,000 contract for U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa (USAFE-AFAFRICA) Air Base Air Defense services. This contract provides the USAFE-AFAFRICA with a layered base defense capability.

Work will be performed at various locations throughout Europe and Africa and is expected to be completed July 20, 2031. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with five offers received.

Parsons Government Services Inc. out of Pasadena, California is one of the largest members of the Parsons Corporation congregation. The unit provides a range of construction-related services, including project planning, construction management, engineering, and start-up and commissioning operations. Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group is regularly awarded contracts by local and regional government agencies, as well as the US Army, involving environmental clean-up and chemical neutralization projects across the country. It has also undertaken facilities management work for the US Department of Homeland Security.
