Navy Awards $17.3M Contract for MCM Ship Engine Repairs in Bahrain and Japan
BAHRAIN / JAPAN — A company out of Chesapeake, Virginia has been awarded a $17,307,657 contract modification to support maintenance and repair work for diesel engines used on U.S. Navy Mine Countermeasure ships. The award was issued to Fincantieri Marine Systems North America, which provides marine propulsion and diesel engine support services for naval vessels. The work includes scheduled maintenance, repairs, technical support, and replacement parts for Isotta Fraschini engines used by the Navy’s mine countermeasure fleet.
