Aircraft Component Product Line Inspector (PLI)

We are looking for Aircraft Component Product Line Inspector (PLI). PLI is responsible for performing in process inspections of tasks performed IAW CMM, SRM, Standard Practice Manual, Drawings, Routings and approved data with aviation quality standard practices. Daily operational work will be based on the principles of Lean Production.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Perform in process inspection to ensure the repair, painting and assembly processes have been
done IAW approved data.
• Check maintenance record (routings and DR reports) and objective evidences (curing chart, curing
parameter, ply orientation, paint thickness, heat treatment chart, etc.) to ensure all requirements in
approved data are met.
• Raise NC ticket when non-conforming tasks are found.
• Perform receiving and final out parts check for outgoing process.
• Support Tech IV for final-out inspection of aircraft components prior to releasing to service.
• Support Tech IV to verify DR reports to ensure all customer requirements are met and addressed.
• Collect, Prepare, and Verify work packages for completion and correction prior to Tech IV final ARC
releases.
• Support Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction (identification, analysis, action, and verification)
• Perform RCCA of NC tickets and initiate and implement preventive actions of reoccurred nonconforming tasks
• Work closely with Program Manager and Quality Manager to reduce number of reworks in Repair
and assembly processes
• Perform inspections upon requests in timely manners to minimize waiting times.
• Ensure product quality to meet all requirements for FAA, EASA, CAAC and other standards with
customer satisfaction
• Support warranty investigation report, root cause identification, corrective actions and preventive
actions.
Qualifications:
• Diploma with minimum 3 years experiences or Bachelor’s Degree –Mechanics / Aerospace
Engineering or Related
• Minimum 2 years experiences of Technician roles or 2 years experiences of Production engineer
in MRO business
• Operational understanding and troubleshooting skills
• Capability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions
• Ability to read, write and understand English and computer literacy is required
• Able to read, interpret and understand SRM, CMM Manual, IPCs
• Hands-on skills in using of measuring equipment
• Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Office, Excel)
• Able to coordinate and work well with others (i.e. Production and Design Engineers,
Planners/Buyers)
