PAE CSSP October 2012 to October 2013
PAE DoS CSSP mission provides training, mentoring, advisory and infrastructure support to the Government of Afghanistan’s Central Prison Directorate promoting safe, humane and sanitary operating practices and self-sufficiency of correction facilities.
PAE CSSP Unit Chief of Security
Reestablished a functional Security Department providing in country oversight of all CSSP security operations and requirements, to include operations in Kabul, Herat, Kunduz, Gardez, and Jalalabad.
• Managed mobile security operations and at all sites to mitigate risk to all PAE/CSSP personnel while maintaining mission effectiveness.
• Developed and implemented SOP’s and plans for emergency response and crisis management, emergency evacuation, physical security, insider attacks and other contingency plans.

• Managed SICURO GPS vehicle tracking program designed to ensure safe movement of personnel in CSSP MST vehicles.
• Tracked over 196 weekly movements in Kabul and provinces in Afghanistan.
• Managed GPS SPOT personal trackers for all CSSP personnel in Kabul and the provinces.

Evaluated project security requirements. Developed and implemented project physical and operational security programs. Developed security plans and procedures based on US Government requirements. Implemented electronic proximity badging program for over one thousand employees. Developed training program. Trained and supervised 80 civilian security guards and 8 security dog teams in all aspects of project security at two sites.
Participated as team leader supervising complete electronic access control and facility surveillance for one of the largest US Government projects in the Middle East.

ANHAM TNMD Project, Security Manager, June 2008 to May 2010
Directed security operations for the National Depot Maintenance Complex Project. Analyzed base operations, intelligence, and security requirements; developed and implemented plans to maximize safety while enabling efficient performance of facility operations. Conducted training programs for U.S. civilian security personnel and Iraqi soldiers, including positioning of the Iraqi Army to assume ownership of the project and the security function. Cultivated strong relationships with diverse international personnel, including senior members of the Iraqi Army.
• Achieved a zero casualty rate in 2009 and 2010 with negligible equipment losses.
• Ensured the safety of 300 U.S. contractors, 1,000 employees, and hundreds of Iraqi soldiers at a base in a hostile area by devising and deploying force protection and security programs, including an access badge program and an Incident Alarm and Drill System.

• Enhanced personnel management and long-term security by spearheading an initiative to input fingerprint data on all Iraqi civilian employees into the Defense Department Biometrics system.
