According to the Department of Defense (D0D), the contractor was awarded a contract for the continued operation and maintenance of a multiyear capital lease for a 25-year indefeasible right of use for a dedicated fiber pair between Guam and Kwajalein Atoll.
The face value of this action is $23,607,174 funded by fiscal 2018 research, development, test and evaluation appropriations. Primary performance will be on land and in waters between Kwajalein Atoll and Guam.
DOD awarded the Dining Facility Services task order on the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) IV at Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates. The award, beginning June 27, 2018, includes a two month mobility period, ten month base period and two option years for a total contract value of $13.5 million dollars.

DI’s excellent performance and dedication on the AFCAP program helped us win this new task order in support of coalition forces in the UAE.”
According to the Department of Defense (DoD), 6 defense contractors were awarded a combined $970,000,000 for the CTR program and to partner with willing countries to reduce threat from weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and related materials, technologies, facilities, and expertise.
Work will be performed at various locations throughout the world. Task orders issued under the IDIQ may be for a duration of three years past the last ordering date of the IDIQ contracts.
