Constellis, a leading provider of operational support and risk management services, announced today that it has acquired American K9 Detection Services, LLC (“AMK9”). The acquisition of AMK9, a leader in K-9 security services, sales and training around the world, significantly enhances Constellis’ capability to train and deploy K-9 teams globally.

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor is being awarded an additional $28,261,012 for a five-month extension of services under a previously awarded contract for base operations support services at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti; and other areas within Africa.

The work to be performed provides for all management and administration, public safety, galley, ordnance, air operations, fire and emergency services, bachelor quarters, housing, pest control, integrated solid waste, base support vehicles and equipment, custodial, electrical, water, wastewater, port operations, supply, morale-welfare-recreation, facilities investment, and environmental services to provide base operations support services.
