Kingdom of Bahrain

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor is being awarded a $12,650,509 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for base operating support services at Naval Support Activity Muhhraq, Bahrain; Department of Defense Dependents Schools, Bahrain School, Juffair, Bahrain; Riffa Army Base, Riffa Bahrain; Sheik Isa Air Base, Bahrain; and Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates (UAE).  The maximum dollar value including the base period and seven option years is $90,838,446.

The work to be performed provides for all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide for public safety (force protection); galley; housing (unaccompanied housing); facilities support (facility management, facility investment, custodial services, pest control services, integrated solid waste management and grounds maintenance and landscaping); utilities (utilities management, electrical, wastewater, water (reverse osmosis plant and distribution system), and chiller plant); and base support vehicles and equipment.

Afghanistan National Defense Security Forces

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor was awarded a $142,061,874 cost-plus-incentive-fee, foreign military sales (Afghanistan) contract for training and mentoring, and contractor logistics support for the Afghanistan National Defense Security Forces.

Work will be performed in Afghanistan, with an estimated completion date of May 22, 2022. Fiscal 2017 other funds in the amount of $142,061,874 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity (W56HZV-17-C-0117).

Professional Overseas Contractors

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor has been awarded a maximum $8,500,000 contract for Thule Air Base sea lift support. Contractor will provide all management, labor and services to accomplish the functions and responsibilities of receiving cargo from vendors, providing in‐transit origin storage, loading, offloading and transporting cargo to and from Denmark and Thule Air Base, Greenland.

Work will be performed in Denmark and Thule Air Base, Greenland, and is expected to be complete by Sept. 30, 2018. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with three offers received. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $1,038,666 are being obligated on the first task order at the time of award.
