Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Northrop Grumman Information Systems, Herndon, Virginia, has been awarded a firm-fixed-price $50,304,260 contract FA8726-13-C-0001 for the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node E-11A platform.

The contractor will provide comprehensive tasks and provide personnel, facilities, aircraft subsystems and support equipment. Work will be performed at Kandahar Air Base, Afghanistan and Wichita, Kansas, and is expected to be complete by Jan. 23, 2016.

According to the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations — The Department of State has selected Miller Hull of Seattle, Washington, as the design architect for the new U.S. Embassy in Niamey, Niger. Miller Hull Partnership will develop the concept design for the new facility.

The multi-building complex will be situated on a 10-acre site in the neighborhood of Yanta haut, and will include a chancery, a Marine Security Guard residence, a utility building, parking, community facilities, and street improvements. A design/build construction award to complete the design and build the facility is anticipated in fiscal year 2015.

According to the Department of Defense (DoD) — Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Sierra Vista, Arizona, was awarded a$37,080,474 contract for continued contract logistics services for unmanned aircraft system. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $9,000,000 were obligated at the time of the award.

Estimated completion date is Jan. 14, 2016. Work will be performed at Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Afghanistan. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
