According to PRNewswire — Versar, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded two new task orders under its existing Personal Services Contract in Afghanistan. The year-long task orders were awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Middle East District (MED). The Personal Services Contract primarily provides Afghan engineering and technical staff to work with USACE personnel in overseeing construction projects throughout Afghanistan. Tony Otten, CEO of Versar, said,

According to the Department of State (DOS) —  The Department of State has awarded three Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Worldwide Design-Build Forced-Entry/Ballistic-Resistant (FE/BR) contracts in support of the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). The solicitation was set aside to 8(a) Small Business Concerns to support the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program and help the Department meet its small business goals.

Professional Overseas Constructions
According to the Department of Defense (DoD) — P&S Construction, Inc.,* North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, is being awarded $17,907,700 for construction contract to construct hardened structures around existing and new petroleum, oil and lubricants structures. Work also includes expanding the hydrant loop system and providing additional system redundancy.

There are four sites in this project: the Andy 1 Intake Manifold; Andy 2 Bulk Storage Pump House; Andy 2 Contingency, Hydrant Pump House; and the Andy 4 Hydrant Loop C and Hydrant Loop B Connection. Work will be performed in Yigo, Guam, and is expected to be completed by March 2016.
