Guantanamo Bay, Cuba

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), Colorado Springs, Colorado, is awarded a $13,298,272 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity modification to a task order (N6945021F0504) to exercise Option One under previously-awarded contract N62742-16-D-3552 for base operations support services at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southeast area of responsibility.

This award brings the total cumulative value of the contract to $39,198,267. Work will be performed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and is expected to be completed by September 2021.

yokohoma, japan

According to the Department of Defense (DoD) a company out of Reston, Virginia, is awarded a $9,964,864 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for contractor support to operate and maintain the active and passive sonar systems necessary to provide mobile undersea acoustic surveillance capabilities.

Work will be performed in Yokohama, Japan (84%); Virginia Beach, Virginia (15%); and Reston, Virginia (1%). Work is expected to be completed by February 2022. This contract was not competitively procured because it is a sole-source acquisition pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1) — only one responsible source in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 6.302-1.

KBR

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), a company out of Houston, Texas, has been awarded a maximum $49,500,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract for hydrant fueling automation maintenance. This was a competitive acquisition with two responses received.

Locations of performance are throughout the U.S., Japan, Wake Island, Republic of  Korea, Guam, Diego Garcia, Portugal, Crete, Spain, Germany, Italy, Turkey and United Kingdom, with May 12, 2022, ordering period end date.
