DynCorp International Receives LOGCAP IV Task Order at Kwajalein
DI has received a Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP IV) change order to the U.S. Army Pacific Command (PACOM) task order 06: Base Operation Services (BOS) supporting the U.S. Army Garrison-Kwajalein Atoll (USAG-KA). The transition began December 1, 2017 and runs through February 28, 2018, with a total work authorization of $9 million.
“With this new change order, DI is pleased to support the U.S. Army’s critical mission at the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site,” said Randy Bockenstedt, DI’s senior vice president of DynLogistics. “We are looking forward to providing services in unique areas related to supporting an installation where families live and work.”
On this change order transition, DI will perform base operations, maintenance and logistics in support of the strategically critical Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site (RTS) on the Kwajalein Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The support consists of public works and engineering services, fire and emergency services, logistics, aviation operations, airfield operations, education services, administrative support, public affairs, religious services, medical services, food services, marine operations, port operations, and community activities.
“This type of transition is a circumstance in which DI excels,” said David Egge, DI’s senior program director. “We have the opportunity to take over several support services where we have tremendous experience, such as aviation, utilities, maintenance and supply chain, and then build experience in areas where we haven’t historically performed such as port operations, K-12 children’s school services and retail grocery stores.”
