• A member of a three-person team, alternates responsibility for three functions associated with physical inspection of cargo and vehicles: image analyst, driver, and spotter
• Serves as the shift leader with responsibility for leading a crew of three or more personnel. Assign tasks to individual team members and ensure they are completed efficiently.
• Analyzes images and program technical factors into a computerized system to ensure optimum scan parameters. Defines optimal protocols and devises alternative ways to best visualize cargo within the container and undertakes other supporting activities.
• Operates the MVACIS in a manner to ensure safe and effective scan.
