Summary
Am a Registered Mechanical technologist by KETRB with 6+ years of experience having graduated with Bachelors of industrial technology from Egerton University. I have a strong background in the basic principles of engineering, methods and practices in mechanical system operation, testing and troubleshooting mechanical equipment. In addition I’m registered member of IET NO.991, a certified CAT D3500series and C175 mechanic, certified on F200 Schneider switchgear, PLC programming basics, Reliability condition monitoring trainings and completed OSA 30HOURS construction safety course.
My professional work experience as a generator mechanic at US Embassy Baghdad has given me not only strong technical knowledge but also domain knowledge and exposure to different work sites. My key strengths include effective communication, strong troubleshooting skills, Quick problem solving ability and passionate to learn and adopt new technologies and skills.
As you review my resume, you will see that I have steadily progressed in my engineering career. From June 2014 I have worked for PAE at US Embassy Baghdad having held different position from power plant operator, to lead generator mechanic and as RCM technician and even acting as power plant supervisor.
Also worked as Generator mechanic/ Gen Yard supervisor at Baghdad Diplomatic support center.
Currently im working as a Mechanical Engineer at Fortum 70MW peat fired power plant in Rwanda.
