  • Working for a global provider of government and managed services, on a complex Civil Engineering project based on a Somali military base under a Department of State contract
  • Overseeing the execution of routine and planned maintenance programs across the project
  • Managing a team of six maintenance staff, coaching and mentoring them to achieve high standards of quality and productivity
  • Worked intensively to coach and mentor military staff at all levels, enabling them to develop excellent specific and transferable skills in Facilities Management, project support and effective communication

Responsibilities included: –

  • Employed at a major residential estate based in Krugersdorp, South Africa
  • Oversaw a range of services and amenities, including routine and planned maintenance, landscaping, security provision and capital expenditure
