Key Achievements                                                                                                                 

  • Ensured all engineering activities were completed in accordance with the Manual of Maintenance and Airworthiness Process-01 (MAP-01)
  • Quantified manpower strategy & planning, workshop facilities, equipment, tooling and training requirements to enable the creation of an independent GSE Engineering Department within the Specialist Maintenance Unit (SMU) that complies with Aerospace Standard AS9110-2016 Quality Management System requirement for Aviation & Space Defence Organisations

  • The main focal point for the ACT Team Leader and all internal stakeholders to ensure the swift completion of an urgently required Financial Review report to increase a contract financial limit of liability from £11.2M to £19.8M, allowing continued asset support by the prime contractor without any disruption to customer services

With a combined contract & asset value of £450M+ during the worst winter on record
  • Authorised In-Service Support (ISS) contract payments with a combined value of £3M+ each quarter
  • Trained all new team members in every aspect of their role during the function transition into a more streamlined MoD Organisation, using sound engineering experience & knowledge to ensure business continuity and ad hoc decision making
  • Initiated the process of combining several engineering contracts from the same prime contractor in my portfolio into one contract to streamline processes and increase work output, enabling more efficient time management
