Experience

While enlisted in the United States Marine Corps I Spent two and a half years with a Combined anti Armour team as a Mobil security and Quick reaction force, this included being a mobil attachment to Marine expedition Units and direct action mission sets. At this time I was a foot mobile Infantryman. After some time I became a lead gunner among my Military occupational Specialty. This ultimately lead to my proficency with small, medium and heavy weaponry.
After the first period with the Antiarmour team I spent four plus years in a Scout Sniper team with 2nd battalion 5th Marines. I became a Professional Instructed Gunman and served as a pointman for team one where I was assigned to multiple responsibilities which include route reconnaissance and planning, IED detection and identification, information gathering and surveillance. While running battalion level operations i became well versed in battle tracking and running fires missions through the Fires Support coordination center.
While preparing for a special duty assignment I was assigned back to a combined anti armour team for an additional 2 years, where I became one of the vehicle commanders. While serving as a vehicle commander I was responsible for the vehicle, missile system and Marines. We also acted as escorts for VIPs and personnel protection.
The following years after I was assigned to 3d light armourd reconnaissance battalion where I became a section leader for a Saber Variant LAV25 section then became a 81mm Mortar section leader where I learned to work in the Fires Direction Center alongside the FDC Cheif and coordinating fires missions at the Company level.
I made the decision to start my transition out of the Marine Corps and became the Substance abuse control officer for the battalion, it was at this final chapter that I learned Records keeping and managment and patient Confidentiality HIPAA.
