BP Exploration – Kingdom of Jordan –  2012 – 2014

Client Representative Civils Works Supervisor and Survey Positioning QC Consultant for BP on oil exploration project in Kingdom of Jordan, encompassing 5000 square kilometres on Jordan/Iraq border. A member of the exploration drilling civils support team, responsible for wellsite pre and post positioning, well-pad construction, stovepipe positioning. Also responsible for 60 km rig-road location, design, layout, construction and maintenance supervision, international boundary survey, infrastructure layout, excavation quantities, mapping, GPS, CAD, GIS. Supported all departments including: Drilling, HSE, Land Transport, Civils, Security, Interventions, UXO, and Operations with Civils Construction Supervision, CAD, Survey Positioning, Mapping, Layout, etc.  Evacuation risk assessments of roadways throughout Jordan from Iraq to the Red Sea. Ensured contractors compliance with BP Control of Work (COW), HSE Golden Rules and following contractual specifications on design drawings. Work with the contractors, construction managers, and supervisors introducing good working practices and safety measures to the Jordanian local workforce.

Chief Surveyor responsible for Differential, Post-Processed Kinematic, RTK, Static GPS positioning, and conventional surveys for 2D and 3D seismic oil exploration.  Conducted and supervised all well location surveys, route surveys, seismic line positioning, operator training, data processing, and report generation.
