Performed pre and post flight operational checks ensuring the Aerostat was Fully Mission Capable. Conducted launch and recovery operations for Aerostat to reach its optimum flight level. Trained in Yuma, Arizona for position as Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Maintenance Technician on the
Tigershark project. Completed training and deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan Detachment 5 in support of
Task Force Copperhead ISR efforts. Performed launch and recovery of the Tigershark UAV with the Copperhead payload installed.
