- Planned and participated in combined air and ground operations that involved over 1,000 personnel.
- Second in command of 100 man Dismounted Reconnaissance Infantry Company.
- Overall responsible for the maintenance and accountability of more than $10 million worth of property and equipment resulting in zero loss.
Scout Platoon Leader, 01/2007 to 04/2009: B/1-33, 3rd BCT, 101st ABN – Fort Campbell, KY/Abu Haswa, Iraq
- Responsible for planning and conducting daily combat operations of a 22 Soldier platoon while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
- Coordinated the logistical movement of 22 soldiers and associated equipment (5M USD) from deployed theaters in Bagdad, Iraq to home station.
- Planned and led over 300 combat patrols, which resulted in the deadliest place in Iraq becoming the safest based on number if significant activity (SIGACTs).
- Responsible for the security, governance, and economic development of Abu Haswa, Iraq with over 10,000 residents.
- Responsible for training and advising over 200 Iraqi Security Forces.
