I received my Worldwide Protective Security (WPS) II and Advanced Reaction Force (ARF) two month certification training at the O’Gara Group located in Montross, Virginia. I was a Protective Security Specialist (PSS) at the US Embassy located in Baghdad Iraq. I work on an Emergency Response Team (ERT). I provide Security protection for all Department of State personnel, other civilian contractors and local nationals who visit or reside at the US Embassy. As an ERT member I work with a group of highly-trained members capable of employing specialized weapons, equipment, and tactics to resolve extremely high-risk situations at the US Embassy in Baghdad Iraq. The potentially violent and often dynamic nature of these incidents requires a highly integrated and coordinated tactical response. Incident Response Teams (IRT) or Emergency Response Teams (ERT) prepare for and respond to any emergency incident such as natural disasters, attacks or an interruption of business operations.

I performed the duties of a Security Specialist Supervisor overseeing four Forward Operating Bases (FOB) in Kabul, Afghanistan. I supervised and coordinated the security function and personnel within my assigned area of responsibility. I provided operational security and general asset protection for the company. Assets included financial items, accounts receivable, physical property, intellectual property, proprietary information and claims or rights of action, among others. I provided guidance and oversight for force protection operations and personnel security as assigned. I served as a deterrent and secured personnel and assets by standing guard or conducting patrols within secure premises to prevent theft, violence or infractions of Fluor and client rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
