Experience
Facilities Operations Analyst 12/2018 to Present
Lockheed Martin, Bethesda, MD
Inspect and perform routine and scheduled maintenance on a wide variety of facility electrical pieces and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment to support military employees deployed overseas. Maintain functional awareness of all systems to act quickly to identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues within the system to ensure minimal downtime and system outage. Perform on-the-spot repairs during electrical system outage and machinery malfunction. Perform regular tests to electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, both to spot potential problems and to ensure that systems are operating at their highest possible levels of functionality. Ensure mission operations have available power by providing and operating primary and backup generators.
Superior Accomplishments:
- Supported military units through facility management for thousands of soldiers deployed overseas.
- Analyzed power infrastructure to increase power productivity by over 50% by freeing up equipment that was not in use.
- Identified major flaw in base power plant operations, preventing critical power plant shutdown that would have brought crucial special operations to a halt.
