MULTIPLE LOCATIONS — A company out of Lynn, Massachusetts, has been awarded a $29,133,666 indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract for contractor engineering and technical services tied to overseas military support operations.
The contract was awarded to General Electric Aerospace and supports Foreign Military Sales programs involving the six countries listed above. These types of engineering support contracts often require specialized contractor personnel to assist with sustainment, system analysis, and technical advisory roles connected to U.S. defense equipment operating overseas.
The award covers work in Bahrain, Israel, Korea, Egypt, Slovakia, and Bulgaria and is expected to continue through Dec. 31, 2028. BAHRAIN / JAPAN — A company out of Chesapeake, Virginia has been awarded a $17,307,657 contract modification to support maintenance and repair work for diesel engines used on U.S. Navy Mine Countermeasure ships.
The award was issued to Fincantieri Marine Systems North America, which provides marine propulsion and diesel engine support services for naval vessels. The work includes scheduled maintenance, repairs, technical support, and replacement parts for Isotta Fraschini engines used by the Navy’s mine countermeasure fleet.
