Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), 9 construction companies was awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, design-build/design-bid-build, multiple award construction contract for construction, renovation, repair, and demolition of facilities, airfields, or other related infrastructure at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. The maximum dollar value for all nine contracts combined is $25,000,000.

Work will be performed in Djibouti. The terms of the contracts are not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of April 2021. Fiscal 2008 operation and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $45,000 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The work to be performed provides for public safety (security operations, emergency management, and fire/emergency services), air operations, ordnance, supply operations, laundry services, morale welfare and recreation, galley (food services), housing (bachelor quarters), facility support (facilities investment, janitorial services, grounds maintenance, pest control, refuse collection, and roads), utilities (electrical generation, wastewater treatment, and water operations), base support vehicles equipment, and environmental services.

According to Department of Defense (DoD) — AECOM Technical Services Inc., Los Angeles, California, is being awarded a maximum $45,000,000 architect-engineering contract for preparation of Navy and Marine Corps facilities planning and environmental documentation in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Southwest Asia (EURAFSWA) area of responsibility (AOR).
