According to the Departement of Defense (DoD) — Leidos, Inc., Reston, Virginia, was awarded a $25,017,625 for ammunition supply point and theater area storage support to the 1st Theater Support Command, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $25,017,625 were obligated at the time of the award. Estimated completion date is Dec. 30, 2015.

Work will be performed in Kuwait. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois, is the contracting activity.

Stanley Associates Inc., Fairfax, Virginia, was awarded a $10,106,913 to sustain the Army’s prepositioned stock and maintenance management capabilities in support of the Army Force Regeneration process. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $7,094,472 were obligated at the time of the award. Estimated completion date is April 29, 2015.

Work will be performed in Kuwait 51% and at multiple sites in Virginia 49 %. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois, is the contracting activity.

According to FedBizOpps — The Government intends to award a sole source (in accordance with FAR 6.302-1) contract to Honeywell Technology Services Inc (HTSI) for staff augmentation support services at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Services to be procured include operations specialists, management analysts, current/future planner, executive administration assistant, contract analyst, supply personnel, plans and operations officer, operations analyst, logistics analysts and transportation personnel.

The contract will have a six month base period of performance and a six month option period. Anticipated award date is 26 September 2014. Competition is limited due to the transition time required for a new contractor to transition-in, the short period of performance, and to ensure continuity of services.
