US Department of Defense changes Security Contractor at Sensitive Joint Base in Kosovo

The US Defense Department awarded a three-year security contract at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo to Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions of Falls Church, Virginia.

Torres replaces DynCorp International which previously held the security contract for over eight years. The contact was originally awarded to Torres in July 2015, however DynCorp protested the award twice since the award. The Defense Department determined that the protests were without merit and made its final award decision on September 1, 2015 ending DynCorp’s efforts to keep the contract. Torres provides security services at 24 US Embassies, Consulates and Joint Operating bases on five continents and has the largest US government security contract in the world in Pakistan with over 2,500 security officers.

OTHER EMBASSY AWARDS

Torres was recently awarded a Polish Embassy Security contract in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Polish Embassy officials sought out Torres after reviewing reports including news articles that Torres provides was identified as the top Security Company in its treatment of security professionals in Argentina.

Torres will begin to staff the Embassy with Security Officers in January 2016.

Torres wins Germany Embassy Security program in Argentina.

Torres is the first US company to provide Security Services for the German Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The German Embassy approached Torres after seeing the level of professionalism that Torres provides at the U.S. Embassy, the Australian Embassy and NIKE in Argentina.

Torres will begin to staff the Embassy with Security Officers in November, 2015.

Torres Awarded Canadian High Commission Security Contract in Zambia

Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions was awarded a three year contact to provide security services for the Canadian High Commission in Lusaka, Zambia.

Canadian security officials received high recommendations of Torres’ security services from the U.S. Embassy and from other customers including the Vatican and Embassies of European nations in Zambia.

The contact will be managed by former U.S. Armed Forces and former Police Officers.
