USACE Awards $64.9M for KC-46A Beddown Facilities in Israel

Post Date: 16 minutes ago | Category: Around the World, Contract Award News

ISRAELConti Federal Services has secured a $64,998,730 firm-fixed-price contract to build out KC-46A beddown infrastructure in Israel, with work running through July 17, 2028. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District (USACE-MED) is the contracting activity under W912ER-25-C-0007; four bids were received via the internet and Foreign Military Sales (Israel) funds were obligated at award.

“For our community, this award means multi-year opportunities in one of the most strategically significant regions in the world. From structural trades to specialized aviation support, the KC-46A build in Israel will need the very best contractors on the ground.” ⚠️ Your overseas job search starts here

According to USACE-MED, the project packages multiple mission-critical facilities into a single program: aircraft hangars; a storage parts/supply warehouse; Alternative Mission Equipment (AME) storage; an Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) shop; a wash rack and run-up pad; and a pump house with storage tanks—plus associated site development. USACE lists a period of performance of 1,051 days from notice-to-proceed.

Context for pipeline watchers

USACE-MED has been actively shaping an Israel construction bench; a recent Israel Construction MATOC (full & open, NAICS 236220) solicitation underscores continuing demand beyond this KC-46A package. If you’re a mid-tier or specialty firm, that vehicle (and derivatives) is worth tracking.

Bottom line

This is a clean, FMS-funded military construction win in Israel that builds the backbone for tanker operations—precisely the kind of project that pulls a wide mix of U.S. and host-nation contractors for several years. Expect hiring waves and sub-buy activity to start as soon as Conti Federal locks in the schedule and procurement.
