$68.86M for Haiti Police Support and Logistics

HAITI — A State Department contract for Haiti police support and logistics carries a potential value of $68.86 million, including options. Current contract value stands at approximately $13.52 million, with $9.79 million obligated for the work.
“Shields Point will support the advisers and logistics that help keep the Haitian National Police mission operating. For contractors, this connects specialist advisory work with property management, deployment coordination and program support.”
POC editorial perspective
Haiti police support spans advisers and logistics
The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, or INL, funds the work. Shields Point LLC holds contract 19AQMM26C0590.
The scope includes subject-matter advisers, support for police schools and academy facilities, and projects supporting the Haitian National Police. In addition, the requirement covers government property inventory and operational coordination.
Meanwhile, the program management office needs life and mission support. The solicitation also addresses personnel deployment, travel, insurance and additional labor when the government requires it.
Current funding differs from the full potential value
The current performance period runs from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027. However, options could extend work through July 31, 2031.
The $68.86 million figure therefore includes work beyond the current period. It does not mean the government has committed that entire amount. Instead, the reported obligation of approximately $9.79 million identifies funding committed so far.
What contractors should watch
For experienced overseas personnel, Haiti police support also includes logistics, inventory control and program coordination.
The solicitation anticipates U.S., local and third-country personnel where applicable. Individual vacancies and employer requirements will determine eligibility for specific positions.
