Contract Award: $9M for Criminal Justice Program Support (CJPS) in support of the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL)

PAE, a leading provider of integrated global mission  services, has been awarded a $9M task order under the Department of State International  Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) Bureau’s Criminal Justice Program Support (CJPS)  contract vehicle. Under the contract, PAE will provide law enforcement advisors, justice advisors and program management support in support of the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) as well as a bilateral component to increase the capacity of the Liberian criminal justice system.

“Our highly qualified PAE team has demonstrated the ability to adapt and evolve as our customers’ requirements have matured and expanded,” said PAE CEO John Heller. “Our focus is to remain a trusted and valued INL partner as we support the mission of strengthening democracies, developing institutional capacities, and promoting internationally-accepted principles of rule of law.”

Since 2005, on a competitively awarded task order, PAE has recruited, mobilized and supported expert police advisors to UNMIL and bilateral justice advisors on behalf of the Department of State. Under the requirements of the newly awarded task order, PAE will continue to work with the United Nations and the Government of Liberia towards strengthening skills, competencies, and abilities of Liberia’s Ministry of Justice, the Liberian National Police and other civilian security and justice-sector entities of the Republic of Liberia.
