Day & Zimmermann becomes sole owner of SOC LLC and appoints new SOC President

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Day & Zimmermann (D&Z) today announced that it has become the sole owner of SOC LLC (SOC) a leading provider of security, logistics and life support services to the U.S. Government domestically and abroad.

D&Z also announced the appointment of Steve Selfridge, an executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience in government and commercial businesses, as President of SOC. “I’m excited about the opportunity to take SOC to the next level working with the entire SOC team,” said Mr. Selfridge. "There is a tremendous opportunity to build upon the positive momentum SOC has seen in recent years as an industry leader,” he added.

To acquire sole ownership, D&Z purchased the interests of SOC-SMG, Inc., a co-owner of SOC since its founding in 2008.  SOC is positioned for continued dramatic growth, with the support and resources of D&Z, a $2.2B USD, century-old, family-owned company whose 21,000 employees specialize in construction & engineering, staffing and defense solutions for leading corporations and governments around the world.
