Professional Overseas Contractors

PAE and Parsons have formed a joint venture to pursue an upcoming potential 10-year, $82 billion contract for logistics and facility management services to the Army.

The companies will base PAE-Parsons Global Logistics Services in the Rock Island, Ill. Region near the Army Sustainment Command and an Army Contracting Command site there. Former Army Joint Munitions Command civilian executive Scott Welker will lead P2GLS as president, the companies said Thursday.

According to the Department of Defense (DoD),  the contractor has been awarded a $28,350,789 contract for European Reassurance Initiative base upgrades at Mihail Kogalniceanu Airbase, Romania.

Work will be performed in Mihail Kogainiceanu, Romania, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 21, 2020. Fiscal 2015 military construction funds in the amount of $28,350,789 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wiesbaden, Germany.

KBR, Inc. announced today that its global Government Services business, KBRwyle, has been awarded a $441 million contract for base operations support services by Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic. KBRwyle will perform these services primarily at Naval Support Facility Camp Lemonnier in Djibouti, as well as at Chabelley Air Field in Djibouti and Camp Simba in Manda Bay, Kenya.
