According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contractor is doing business as Diplomatic Language Services, Arlington, Virginia, has been awarded a $9,995,000 fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract for English language training to United Arab Emirates (UAE) personnel.

Work will be performed in UAE and is expected to be complete by March 20, 2020. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales to UAE. This award is the result of a country-directed, sole-source acquisition.

Professional Overseas Contractors

According to the Department of Defense (DoD), the contract was awarded a $28,725,350 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for base operations support services in Qatar in support of the Area Support Group Qatar.

Work will be performed in Qatar with an estimated completion date of Sept. 29, 2017. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance, Army funds in the amount of $28,725,350 were obligated at the time of the award.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded a prime contract to provide English language training to foreign national employees that work at the U.S. Embassy in Mozambique.

USAID employees lead and support critical humanitarian aid programs throughout Mozambique. USAID has been a leader in changing the course of Mozambique’s future, which is one of the poorest nations in Africa, since the end of its long civil war. USAID also manages several vital programs that support vulnerable populations, including programs that provides food, shelter, medical aid, protection and education for over 46,000 homeless children.
