AMSEC LLC, Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded an $187,795,398 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to furnish engineering, technical, repair and logistics support to afloat Navy surface ships and aircraft carriers. Under the terms of the contract, the company will identify material condition discrepancies; update and maintain configuration and availability report database systems; and develop or update onboard training and curriculum and conduct crew training.

Work will be performed in various ship homeports throughout the world and is expected to complete by April 2015. Fiscal 2014 operations and maintenance, Navy and fiscal 2014 shipbuilding and conversion, Navy funding in the amount of $932,032 is being obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with three offers received. The Norfolk Ship Support Activity, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N50054-14-D-1408).

CACI International, Honeywell and Serco Inc. will compete for task orders to perform technical support and related services for U.S. Navy electronic surveillance systems under a set of potential three-year contracts.

The Navy will also award work for lifecycle sustainment, integration and acquisition support services for defense and other government entities, the Defense Department said. Sixty percent of work will occur at contractor facilities with the remaining 40 percent at the government’s operational platform sites, shore-based sites and training activities in the U.S. and abroad.

General Dynamics Information Technology, Fairfax, Va., has been awarded a $12,414,345 modification (P00010) to exercise option year two on cost-plus-fixed-fee contract W91RUS-12-C-0011.  The contractor shall provide the 160th Signal Brigade and subordinate units staff support in the areas of administrative support, operations support and logistics support within the Central Command area of responsibility.

Work will be performed in Kuwait, Afghanistan and Qatar with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2015.  Fiscal 2014 overseas contingency operations funds in the amount of $12,414,345 are being obligated at award. Army Contracting Command – Netcom Branch, Fort Huachuca, Ariz., is the contracting activity.
