Contract Awards

Versar, Inc. announced that the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District (USACE-TAM) has extended the Company's ongoing Personal Services and Support contract in Iraq by six months. The extension has a ceiling value of $1.5 million and the period of performance runs through August 6, 2014. Versar has been supporting the United States Department of Defense reconstruction efforts in Iraq since 2004. Jeff Wagonhurst, President of Versar, said:

 "This contract extension demonstrates the continued quality support and capacity development we provide to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in Iraq."

In July 3, 2013 Department of State (DOS) awarded PAE a contract for $403 million to provide life support services at U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq. The contract is to provide life support services including food procurement, preparation and serving, fuel procurement and delivery, postal support services, solid waste management, property acrap, destruction and disposals; recreation support services; airfield and structural fire protection, warehouse operations support, airfield management and operations support, transportation services, RSO supplemental staffing support for vetting, badging and security systems maintenance, and program management.

DynCorp International (DI) has been awarded a subcontract to provide training assistance in support of the Afghan Engineer Training Security Assistance Team. The firm fixed-price subcontract has a one year period of performance and a total value of $6.4 million.
