Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va., was awarded a $33,003,618 modification under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N39430-13-C-1201) to exercise option period one for anti-terrorism/force protection global sustainment at Navy regions, worldwide.  The work to be performed provides for preventative and corrective maintenance, repair and replacement, service calls, and systems/software upgrades for anti-terrorism/force protection ashore equipment.  The total contract amount after exercise of this option will be $60,169,948.

Work will be performed worldwide and work is expected to be completed March 2015.  Fiscal 2014 operation and maintenance, Navy contract funds in the amount of $33,003,618 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity.

Vanquish Worldwide, dedicated to providing worldwide support services to the U.S. Government and commercial market sector, has been awarded a supplemental contract to their prime contract issued by the U.S. Central Command for National Afghan Trucking (NAT). NAT is the largest transportation contract in Afghanistan and vital to the U.S. Government’s current retrograde mission throughout the country.

Fluor Corporation announced its joint venture team was selected by Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) as the preferred bidder to design, construct and commission the Mina Abdullah Package 2 Clean Fuels Project in southern Kuwait. Fluor expects to book its undisclosed portion of the project value in the company’s first quarter of 2014.
