
PASADENA, CA — Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced today that it was awarded a contract to provide Global Logistics and Support Services (GLASS) to the U.S. Army in Rock Island, Ill. The award includes a base period of one year plus two one-year option periods. The contract has a maximum order limit of $135 million.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Robert Norfleet stated, “We are delighted to continue our support to the U.S. Army and to have the opportunity to partner with them in support of U.S. contingency operations.”
Under the terms of the GLASS contract, Jacobs is providing logistics, planning, analysis, acquisition, and life cycle management support services at Rock Island Arsenal and at other locations worldwide that support ongoing U.S. contingency operations. This contract supports the Army Sustainment Command Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) as well as the Army Contracting Command–Rock Island LOGCAP and Reachback Division.
