Department of Defense (DOD)The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with an estimated ceiling-price of $872,766,714 for system upgrades for F/A-18 A/B, C/D, E/F and EA-18G aircraft for the U.S. Navy and the governments of Australia, Finland, Switzerland, Kuwait, Malaysia, and Canada. This contract provides for deliverables and services based on System Configuration Set life cycle phases for the aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (95 percent) and China Lake, Calif. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2018.

Department of Defense (DOD)Jorge Scientific Corp., Arlington, Va., was awarded a $7,309,301 firm-fixed-price contract for Counterinsurgency (COIN) Advisory and Assistance Team services in Afghanistan regarding a new COIN concept without a break in service. This assistance entails training U.S. forces on how to train Afghanistan National Security Forces (ANSF) on functions critical to ANSF sustainment. Fiscal 2014 operations and maintenance, Army funds in the amount of $5,755,730 were obligated at the time of the award. The estimated completion date is March 15, 2014.
