This contract provides life support services for the Department of State (DOS) Embassy and Consulates staff and other U.S. agencies personnel located in the country of Iraq. Life support services include food procurement, preparation and serving; fuel procurement and delivery; postal support services; solid waste management; property acrap, destruction and disposals; recreation support services; airfield and structural fire protection; warehouse operations support; airfield management and operations support; transportation services; RSO supplemental staffing support for vetting, badging and security systems maintenance, and program management.  The DOS intends to issue task orders for the following DOS sites: Embassy Compound in Baghdad including Olympia and Embassy Heliport; Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center, and Basrah.

Naval Facilities Engineering Command-Pacific has awarded DynCorp International (DI) a contract to provide operations support services within the designated Joint Operation Area and Manila, Republic of the Philippines.

“We are proud and honored that Naval Facilities Engineering Command has chosen DI to continue to provide quality support services to the men and women of the Joint Special Operations Task Force- Philippines,” said .

DI team members will provide services including management and administration, command and staff, public safety, air operations, port operations, supply, morale, welfare and recreation support, galley, facility support, utilities, base support vehicles, equipment and environmental services. The competitively-awarded, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract has one base year with four, one-year options and a total contract value of $198 million if all options are exercised. DI was the incumbent on this contract, previously providing support services under a contract awarded in March 2008.

Department of Defense (DoD) awarded Science Applications International Corporation - SAIC  $99 Million on Friday for Cooperative Threat Reduction logistics support services.

The Office of Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) is funded by the Nonproliferation, Anti-terrorism, De-mining and Related Programs (NADR) Account. ISN/CTR programs, also known as Global Threat Reduction (GTR) programs, are aimed at reducing the threat posed by terrorist organizations or proliferant states seeking to acquire weapons of mass destruction (WMD) expertise, material, and equipment. GTR programs are threat-driven and focus on frontline states like Iraq and Yemen, critical states such as Indonesia, Philippines, and Egypt, and in regions where the terrorist threat is on the rise, such as South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Department of Defense (DoD)Science Applications International Corp., of McLean, Va., is being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract valued at $99,500,000 for Cooperative Threat Reduction logistics support services.  Work will be performed worldwide and the initial ordering period will continue through June 2016.  This requirement was solicited as a full and open competition on FedBizOpps and six proposals were received.  The contracting activity is Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va.,
