G4S Government Solutions announced that its Germany-based entity G4S Integrated Facility Services GmbH (G4S-IFS) announced that it has been awarded the Stuttgart Installation Maintenance Contract for the facilities management of the United States Army Garrison Stuttgart; Headquarters of United States European Command (EUCOM).

G4S-IFS will be responsible for operation maintenance (O&M) and recurring preventative maintenance services and other facilities support services to include: Work Reception, Pest Control, Water Treatment, Potable Water Distribution, Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems, Boiler Plant Operations, Family and Single Soldier Housing, and Utilities Operations and Management. Recurring maintenance and trouble call repair services include preventative maintenance and repairs to building structural, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. With the addition of Individual Job Orders the contract with its base year and four option years is expected to be more than €27 million (approx. $35 million) total contract value.

Professional Overseas Contractors - www.Your-POC.comOn March 29, 2013 Department of Defense (DoD) Awarded Engility Corp. of Chantilly, Va., a $77,907,214 cost-plus-fixed-fee, incrementally-funded contract. The award will provide for services in support of training U.S. and Coalition forces on law enforcement and investigation techniques. Work will be performed in Afghanistan and Germany, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2014. The bid was solicited through the Internet, with three bids received. The Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity (W91CRB-13-C-0021).
