AAR Corporation announced today that the Company’s Airlift business was selected to renew its support in Western and Central Africa. The renewal is valued at approximately $9 million in revenue and will run through mid-June 2013. AAR Airlift supports this requirement as a subcontractor to ACADEMI, LLC (formally known as Black water).

The contract renewal calls for AAR to transport personnel and supplies using two fixed-wing aircraft to support U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) and U.S. Department of Defense Counter Narco-Terrorism Program Office (CNTPO) operations.

IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. announced that its UK subsidiary, G3 Systems LTD, has won a NATO Support Agency (NSPA) contract for the facilities management of Camp Oqab, a base serving approximately 250 U.S. Air Force and Afghan personnel. The base is located within the boundary of the NATO base at Kandahar International Airport (KAIA).

Under the contract, G3 will be responsible for Facilities O&M, Pest control, Waste Management, Cleaning Services, and Power Generation. The contract is for one year with three option years and could be worth in excess of $5 million if the option years are exercised. There also is the prospect of additional work tasks during the span of the contract.

Science Applications International Corporation announced it was awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) to provide services and materials for the operational support of the USCG Integrated Health Information System (IHiS).  The single-award task order has a one-year base period of performance, one twelve month option, one nine-month option, and a total contract value of approximately $17 million, if all options are exercised.  The task order was awarded under the EAGLE Master Agreement.  Work will be performed primarily in Falls Church, Va., San Diego, Calif., and the designated U.S. Coast Guard Operations Systems Center.
