Department of Defense awarded a company out of Chantilly, Virginia, an additional $8,777,959 to a previously awarded contract for multi-intelligence operations support services.

Work will be performed in Kuwait, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 14, 2022.

DOD has awarded a $10,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for paving construction services at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.

Work is expected to be completed by May 17, 2027. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and seven offers were received.

DOD awarded a company out of Concord, California, an additional $75,196,267 under a previously awarded multiple-award construction contract for the construction of facilities at the Naval Support Activity (NSA) Marine Corps Base (MCB) Guam.

The work to be performed provides for the construction of a permanent maintenance building, an administrative building, and other facilities that require operational, maintenance, and support facilities to conduct the mission requirements of the Maine Air Ground Combat Task Force at NSA MCB Guam.

DOD awarded a company out of McLean, Virginia $37,010,368 contract award for the construction of a new munitions support facility.

Work will be performed in Azraq, Jordan, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 12, 2024. Fiscal 2018 military construction, defense-wide funds in the amount of $37,010,368 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District, is the contracting activity (W912ER-22-C-0015).

Department of Defense has awarded an $11,859,826 contract that provides ship-based commercial helicopter and vertical replenishment (VERTREP) services to Navy ships, partner nations’ ships, and theater facilities and operations worldwide.

ACHI is required to perform missions at any time, day or night, on a 24-hour per day basis, and shall be capable of executing all missions during a state of war, warlike operations, civil strife, piracy, natural disaster, or other hostilities, and obey all lawful orders in the execution of their mission.

In a display of the strengthening ties between the United States and Italy, the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), the U.S. Mission in Italy, and other U.S. and local officials celebrated the groundbreaking of the new U.S. Consulate General in Milan.

The new U.S. Consulate General campus, which includes the restored iconic Liberty Building, Liberty Plaza, and Parade Ground, will offer a modern public gathering space and gateway welcoming visitors and staff.

Department of Defense has awarded an additional $18,501,510 to a previously awarded contract to exercise Option Year Six. This contract modification provides program support for Air Combat Command’s Unmanned Aircraft System Operations Center Support, providing the warfighter long-endurance, real-time reconnaissance, and surveillance, and precision attack against fixed and time-critical targets.

This modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $142,229,509.

DOD awarded a modification (P00014) on firm-fixed-price contract HTC711-18-D-R023 in the amount of $16,379,297. This modification provides continued dedicated fixed-wing and rotary-wing air services.

Work will be performed at Edwin Andrews Air Base, Philippines. The period of performance is from March 28, 2022, to Sept. 27, 2022.

Dept of State — At a historic groundbreaking ceremony highlighting the enduring bilateral friendship and partnership between the United States and Nigeria, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu joined U.S. Ambassador Mary Beth Leonard and U.S. Consul General Claire Pierangelo on Thursday to officially mark the beginning of construction of a new, modern U.S. Consulate General in Lagos.

The U.S. Department of State awarded Constellis company Triple Canopy the Worldwide Protective Services III (WPS III) Baghdad protective services contract.

Constellis, a leading provider of essential risk management and mission support services to government and commercial clients worldwide, announced today that the Department of State (DOS) awarded the company’s Triple Canopy subsidiary a 10-year protective services contract in Baghdad, Iraq, under the WPS III Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a $1.3 billion contract value.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District has awarded a $34,030,929 contract for the design-bid-build construction of an electrical system upgrade at the Naval Support Activity in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Work will be performed in Manama, Bahrain, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 19, 2024.

DOD awards an additional  $7,665,000 to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract with reimbursable elements to exercise a one-year option period for the operation of the offshore support vessel HOS Red Rock to provide support services in support of Navy operations.

Work will be performed worldwide and is expected to be completed, if all options are exercised, by Feb. 28, 2026.
