Department of Defense awarded a company out of San Diego, California $7,997,155 to a previously awarded contract for technical and administrative support services in support of the U.S. Marine base (MCIPAC) Defense Policy Review Initiative.

This contract includes four one-year option periods which, if exercised, could bring the cumulative value of this contract to $37,580,734. Work will be performed in Okinawa, Japan, and is expected to be completed in June 2023. If all options are exercised, work will continue through June 2025.

Work is expected to be completed by May 17, 2027. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and seven offers were received.

This contract provides for Title I Design, Title II Construction Inspection, and Title III Other Professional Services for investigations, studies, supervision, and travel as required at Yokota Air Base, Japan; Camp Zama, Japan; and Misawa Air Base, Japan.

Work is expected to be completed by May 25, 2029.

DOD awarded a company out of Concord, California, an additional $75,196,267 under a previously awarded multiple-award construction contract for the construction of facilities at the Naval Support Activity (NSA) Marine Corps Base (MCB) Guam.

The work to be performed provides for the construction of a permanent maintenance building, an administrative building, and other facilities that require operational, maintenance, and support facilities to conduct the mission requirements of the Maine Air Ground Combat Task Force at NSA MCB Guam.

ACHI is required to perform missions at any time, day or night, on a 24-hour per day basis, and shall be capable of executing all missions during a state of war, warlike operations, civil strife, piracy, natural disaster, or other hostilities, and obey all lawful orders in the execution of their mission.

Italy

In a display of the strengthening ties between the United States and Italy, the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), the U.S. Mission in Italy, and other U.S. and local officials celebrated the groundbreaking of the new U.S. Consulate General in Milan.

This contract provides operations and maintenance support for the Ground-based Electro-optical Deep Space Surveillance System located in Socorro, New Mexico; Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory; and Maui, Hawaii.

The option is funded with fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance funds. Total contract value is $61,716,063.

Department of Defense has awarded an additional $18,501,510 to a previously awarded contract to exercise Option Year Six. This contract modification provides program support for Air Combat Command’s Unmanned Aircraft System Operations Center Support, providing the warfighter long-endurance, real-time reconnaissance, and surveillance, and precision attack against fixed and time-critical targets.

This modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $142,229,509.
