DOD awarded a company out of Cape Canaveral, Florida $8,149,084 fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity modification to contract.

This modification provides for the exercise of Option Year Four for recurring and non-recurring work for base operating support services at U.S. Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay. Work will be performed in Souda Bay, Greece.

By Ross Wilkers — Some transition and startup activities are going forward on the Army’s massive LOGCAP V global logistics program but the coronavirus pandemic continues to push back the timeline for being fully up and running.

Now that full operational capability is not expected until next year and the timeline for the transition itself is also being extended because of base access and border restrictions abroad, Vectrus CEO Chuck Prow said Wednesday during the company’s second-quarter earnings call.

Amentum, through its legacy company DynCorp, has secured a potential $147.3 million contract to provide global prepositioned material services to the U.S. Air Forces in Europe.

The company will help store, maintain, reconstitute and out load equipment and perform contingency logistics support work under the USAFE GPMS program, Air Combat Command.
