The U.S. Navy has awarded a $10,055,309 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract modification to continue base operating support services at Naval Support Facility (NSF) Deveselu in Romania. The award exercises Option Six under an existing contract and brings the cumulative contract value to approximately $70.6 million. Work is scheduled to continue through July 2027.

"The Navy's continued investment at Naval Support Facility Deveselu demonstrates the long-term commitment to sustaining critical military infrastructure in Eastern Europe. While this option award remains with incumbent contractor Vectrus Systems, overseas contractors should continue watching for subcontracting and support opportunities in facilities maintenance, logistics, engineering, utilities, transportation, and other base operations roles as the mission evolves." - POC

Vectrus Systems LLC, headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, received the modification under contract N62470-20-D-0004. The contract provides comprehensive base operating support services that help keep Naval Support Facility Deveselu functioning efficiently. Work will be performed at the installation in Deveselu, Romania, with the current option period expected to conclude in July 2027.

Naval Support Facility Deveselu is home to the U.S. Navy's Aegis Ashore Ballistic Missile Defense System, making it one of the most strategically significant U.S. military installations in Eastern Europe. Base operating support contracts provide the day-to-day services necessary to sustain installation operations, including facilities maintenance, utilities, logistics, transportation, environmental services, and infrastructure support for military personnel and mission requirements.

No funds were obligated at the time of the award. Fiscal Year 2026 Navy Operations and Maintenance funds will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued and subject to the availability of funds. The contract is administered by Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central in Naples, Italy.
